Job Description

Job Responsibilities:
Leads, plans and directs ongoing activities, prepares a plan and ensures the implementation of investments. The incumbent takes care of the planning, coordination, tracking of deadlines and the budget of investment and maintenance projects, while leading a team
Organizing and managing the department, planning and directing ongoing activities by setting priorities
Coordination of internal resources and external contractors for flawless implementation of investment projects
Preparation of the investment plan (CAPEX projects), management and implementation of medium-sized and larger investments and obtaining the most favorable offers for their realization
Preparation of analysis, acquisition of offers and advice on the procurement of machines, machine parts and other fixed assets in accordance with the adopted investment plan
Creation of proposals for structural solutions in cooperation with the technical and investment team and external contractors
Care and control of funds for investment projects and safety at work and control of related procedures
Care for the implementation of regulations in the field of health and safety at work
Preparation of strategic and business guidelines for the field of work
Management of the most demanding projects
Representing the field and participating in meetings, coordination and other business events
Providing timely and accurate information within the area and sharing information between areas/departments/globally
Monitoring legislation and other regulations that affect the implementation of the work process and the company's operations, as well as the preparation of proposals for the introduction of changes and internal instructions
Analyzing areas of possible improvement and introducing new methods, techniques and work procedures
Monitoring and evaluating the work performance of employees, preparing employee development measures and giving appropriate recommendations for motivating and developing the knowledge and skills of employees
Continuous improvement of team capacity based on preparation and implementation of personal development plans, transfer of knowledge and implementation of relevant trainings
Participation in the design of educational programs and supervision of their implementation
Performing other tasks as instructed by the organization and/or superior
Job Requirements
Degree in Engineering (Mechanical OR Civil OR Chemical preferred).
Previous project management experience (5 years minimum, 10+ years preferred).
Knowledge of CAPEX process and process improvement principles (lean, PDCA, DMAIC)
Knowledge of process safety aspects
Knowledge of the SAP information system
Experience in food/ pharma OR process industry is required.
The ideal candidate will facilitate management’s ability to lead through change and drives efforts toward our desired culture.
Higher level (C1) knowledge of a foreign language (English)
Excellent competence in working with MS Office tools or other programs
Category B driving test
