Job Title: Forklift Driver
Location: Zanesville, Ohio
Job Description: We are seeking a skilled and safety-conscious Forklift Driver to join our warehouse team. As a Forklift Driver, you will play a vital role in the efficient operation of our warehouse by safely operating a forklift to move materials and products to and from storage areas, production lines, trucks, and shipping containers.
Responsibilities:
Safely operate a forklift to transport materials and products throughout the warehouse or production facility.
Load and unload materials from trucks, pallets, racks, and shelves using the forklift.
Ensure proper stacking and securement of materials to prevent damage or accidents.
Perform daily inspections of the forklift and report any maintenance or operational issues to the supervisor.
Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines to maintain a safe working environment for yourself and others.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the warehouse by arranging materials and products in designated areas.
Assist with inventory control by accurately counting and recording materials and products.
Collaborate with warehouse team members and supervisors to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
Follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) and instructions from supervisors to ensure efficient workflow.
Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives by suggesting process improvements and efficiency gains.
