Boehringer Ingelheim Junior Cost and Profitability Accounting Specialist in Wrocław, Poland

The position

Looking for a role where you will not only provide solutions for cost and profitability accounting, but also take part in process optimization and development of further innovative processes within the new GBS Centre? We help Finance Departments to gain a deeper understanding of their profitability and a better control of their cost.

Tasks & responsibilities

  • You support daily business in Cost and Profitability Accounting by primarily support of execution of tasks & processes on various markets:- month end closing activities (e.g., reconciliations of Net Sales and Operating Income, bookings, running cost allocation, settlement of cost objects, perform plausibility checks- master data maintenance including cost centers, internal orders

  • You ensure compliance of global processes within area of responsibility

  • You participate in transition or implementation of CPA processes and systems

  • You support continuous improvement projects

  • You support creation and development of documentation/training- material and concepts

  • You are responsible for process descriptions and system user manuals

About our future employee

You should be a motivated person with at least 1 year of professional experience in finance, preferably in an international environment.

Additionally, we are looking for:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accountancy, Controlling, Finance or similar

  • Management Accounting know-how is an advantage

  • SAP experience is a plus

  • Good English in reading, writing and speaking

  • Customer-oriented attitude with strong communication skills

  • Willingness to learn and attention to details

  • Good team player working towards common team objectives

  • Knowledge in MS Office Tools

  • Positive approach with ability to come up with ideas in our Speak culture
