Job Title: Long-Term First Grade Substitute Teacher

Position Summary:

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Long-Term Substitute Teacher to join our first-grade team. These positions (needing two teachers) will run from approximately mid August through mid October. These positions offer a rewarding opportunity to provide consistent and engaging instruction to our students while the regular classroom teacher is on leave. The successful candidates will be responsible for implementing established lesson plans, maintaining a positive learning environment, and ensuring the academic progress of all students.

Key Responsibilities:

• Implement daily lesson plans and instructional activities as provided by the regular classroom teacher.
• Maintain a positive and organized classroom environment conducive to learning.
• Provide differentiated instruction to meet the diverse needs of all students.
• Monitor and assess student progress, providing feedback as needed.
• Maintain accurate attendance and other required records.
• Follow school policies and procedures, including those related to student discipline and safety.
• Communicate effectively with students, parents, and school staff.
• Foster a respectful and inclusive classroom culture.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in education or a related field preferred.
• Prior experience working with elementary-aged children is highly desirable.
• Strong classroom management skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to follow lesson plans and adapt to changing situations.
• Patience, flexibility, and a positive attitude.
• Ability to pass a background check.

Compensation and Benefits:
