Job Description:
The Productivity Engineer II is responsible for supporting the manufacturing of products for Operational systems development, process flow, Operational needs and process efficiencies, facility design, material handling equipment specification, labor management and staff planning. Ensures compliance with industry safety/design standards and guidelines. This is an intermediate-level engineering position.
Job Responsibilities:
- Develops the design/development of operational system processes for new products, product changes and enhancements.
- Improves process efficiencies and product flow.

``` - Participates with cross-functional teams as part of operational activities while managing projects - Works with operational systems including training of operators and coordination with production planning. - Analyzes operational data and improves processes to assure manufacturing demands are met on a consistent basis. - Works with set-up of new manufacturing line(s); including purchasing, implementing, and creating layout improvements. - Development of PFMEA's and control plans - Perform manufacturing time-studies as required - Follow written protocols and reports - Ensure all ISO paperwork is complete at each project milestone - Participate in brainstorming sessions and cross-functional meetings to ensure collaboration - Works with business units at the operational level to drive process improvements, identifying service standards and strategies for repeatable execution. - Assists with the implementation of advanced approaches and solutions utilizing best practices. - Evaluates designs and assists with the implementation of new layouts: including storage rack, conveyor, automation, and other material handling solutions for facilities. - Perform other duties as assigned.
Job Requirements:
- Working level knowledge of Lean Principles
- Moderate knowledge of process flow, value stream analysis, operations demands and operator requirements.
