Wisconsin State Job Bank School Bus Driver in WISCONSIN DELLS, Wisconsin
JOB REQUIREMENTS: The School District of Wisconsin Dells is now hiring one or more school bus drivers for daily routes (AM & PM). Make \$46.24 per route, doing what most parents do for free! \$300 sign-on bonus for new hires following 60 safe working days. Sick leave, paid holidays and year-end bonus. Extra-curricular routes are also available. We pay for licensing, physicals, and up to 30 hours of in-house training. We also need substitute drivers in addition to this full-time position. Progression from sub status to permanent driver is possible. Successful drivers will hold a Class B, C, and D commercial license with a P and S endorsement or be willing to acquire. Will train the right candidate!! Pay: \$92.48 per day Check the condition of a vehicle\'s tires, brakes, windshield wipers, lights, oil, fuel, water, and safety equipment to ensure that everything is in working order. Comply with traffic regulations to operate vehicles in a safe and courteous manner. Drive gasoline, diesel, or electrically powered multi-passenger vehicles to transport students between neighborhoods, schools, and school activities. Escort small children across roads and highways. Follow safety rules as students board and exit buses or cross streets near bus stops. Keep bus interiors clean for students. Maintain knowledge of first-aid procedures. Maintain order among students during trips to ensure safety. Pick up and drop off students at regularly scheduled neighborhood locations, following strict time schedules. Prepare and submit reports that may include the number of students or trips, hours worked, mileage, or fuel consumption. Read maps and follow written and verbal geographic directions. Record bus routes. Regulate heating, lighting, and ventilation systems for student comfort. Report any bus malfunctions or needed repairs. Report delays, accidents, or other traffic and transportation situations, using telephones or mobile two-way radios.
