What we're looking for..
Our company is looking to hire an experienced sandblaster to be apart of our highly skilled team.
- Maintain and operate all sandblasting equipment
- Complete all assigned tasks in timely manner
- Mask/protect surfaces from blast media
- Able to operate forklifts and large equipment
- Test and document environmental conditions
- Prepare variety of surfaces for coating
- Perform preventative maintenance on blasting equipment- hose, nozzle, light, hood, etc.
- Repair field equipment- blast pots, vacuum, compressor, dehumidifier, etc
- Knowledge of airless and conventional spray equipment
- Apply coatings with minimal to no quality problems
- Knowledge of PPE and personal safety
- Knowledge of power tools
- Maintain clean work area
- Store materials properly
- Follow instructions and communicate with co-workers
- Effectively use light and heavy equipment
- Ability to read labels, safety warnings, and guidelines
- Basic knowledge of hand tools and their usage
- Follows all company policies and procedures, including but not limited to safety
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $15.00 - $25.00 per hour
