​This is a full time permanent salaried position 37.5 hours per week in office position. Monday to Friday 9-5 with a 3-4 week rotation “on-call” responsibilities. We offer a competitive compensation package including bonuses and benefits.

Job description and the qualities that we are looking for:

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Provide scheduling, planning and support to health care team

  • Scheduling of staff appropriately to ensure continuity of care

  • Update and maintain an electronic client database

  • Maintenance of client and employee records

  • Data entry of all client, employee and billing information

  • Respond to all inquiries with efficiency and appropriate urgency

  • Provide support to billing activities

  • Other office administrative duties as assigned.

  • Provide a high level of customer service and client satisfaction

  • Interact with clients and team members and make them smile.

The qualities we are looking for is someone who is:

  • Organized and able to think outside the box.

  • Excited by and excel at problem solving.

  • Fondness for chess, puzzles, sodoku and other brain games.

  • Excellent computer skills 40+WPM, proficiency with MS office and web based software.

  • Able to work in a team environment and communicate effectively with the team.

  • Adaptability and the ability to deal with tight deadlines

  • Ability to prioritize, multi-task and deal with competing priorities

  • Warm and compassionate with good people and telephone skills

  • Scheduling experience  an asset

  • Courses in medical administration or health care training are an asset.

  • Willingness to exceed client expectations

  • Passionate about caring for seniors – and wanting to make a positive difference in their lives.

  • Good command of the English language, speaking and writing
