Job Title: Interior Technician

Job Description

Perform interior modification and upgrade of corporate/business aircraft for customers. Responsibilities include removing seats, cabinets, sidewalls, panels, and other interior equipment; inspecting and repairing installation brackets and related assemblies; and installing seats, galleys/lavs, panels, etc., to complete the upgrade program. This modification includes running new wiring from the flight deck to E bay and through ceilings and sidewalls, seat to seat, and new LRUs in the ceiling. The removal and replacement of all seats, most sidewalls and bins, ceiling panels, raceways, part of the galley, carpet, and cockpit seats will be completed with new/updated material. Wiring, testing, and terminating will be done by Avionics technicians, while our team will handle the removal and replacement of all these interior components and assemblies.

Responsibilities

  • Remove seats, cabinets, sidewalls, panels, and other interior equipment.

  • Inspect and repair installation brackets and related assemblies.

  • Install seats, galleys/lavs, panels, etc., to complete the upgrade program.

  • Run new wiring from the flight deck to E bay and through ceilings and sidewalls.

  • Remove and replace all seats, most sidewalls and bins, ceiling panels, raceways, part of the galley, carpet, cockpit seats, etc.

  • Work with Avionics technicians for wiring, testing, and terminating.

Essential Skills

  • 2+ years of recent aircraft interiors removal and installation experience.

  • Ability to work from blueprints.

  • Proficiency in using hand and power tools.

  • Experience with corporate aircraft, hawker aircraft, and airframe installation.

  • Skills in interior finishing, repair, upholstery, cabinetry, and interior trim.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • 3+ years of aircraft interiors install experience.

  • Airframe license preferred but not required.

  • Must have own tools.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Windsor Locks, Connecticut.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $35.00 - $43.00/hr.
