Description: An Entry Level Operations Data Specialist job is currently available at Belcan in Windsor, CT. In this job, you will support customer issue resolution, user account support, field issue analysis, database management, web application testing, and off hours on-call in support of the eFAST Health Management systems in the aerospace field.
Job Duties:
Operations Data Specialist job duties include:
· Customer issue resolution: Communicate with the customer, collaborate across internal teams, and resolve issues with the data service
· Administer user account onboarding
· Perform data analysis and root cause analysis of field issues
· Database navigation, analysis, and management
· Web application and converter requirement-based and exploratory testing
· Off-hours on-call support for system issue resolution
Required Qualifications:
· Minimum Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology & Web Science, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or Data Science
· Proven knowledge of SQL and database management
· Familiarity with Python
· Ability to productively contribute work, ideas, and collaboration as part of a team
· Self-motivated, adaptable, highly organized, and possess excellent communication abilities
· Problem-solving skills and the ability to prioritize to meet critical deadlines
Preferred qualifications:
· Proven knowledge of Python
· Familiarity with Cellular and Wi-Fi connectivity
· Familiarity with Java
· Familiarity with Linux
· At least one year of experience in the Aerospace industry performing similar activities
We provide a competitive pay and benefits package. This position is offering a salary range of $56,000 to $85,000. Belcan considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to education, experience, geographic location, and discipline.
