Robert Half Supply Chain Analyst in Wilmington, Delaware

Description

We are offering an exciting opportunity for a Supply Chain Analyst to join an amazing company. This role is pivotal in ensuring efficient performance of the supply chain by supporting the operations team and maintaining a vital interface between our organization and contract manufacturers & suppliers.

Responsibilities:

• Efficiently processing and analyzing data from various internal and external sources related to supply chain operations.

• Generating comprehensive reports on inventory, forecasting, transportation, and Cost of Goods Sold (COGS).

• Utilizing skills in SAP, Oracle, and Excel formulas to consolidate and update operational KPIs.

• Reviewing and assessing Bill of Materials requirements for key components.

• Timely raising and managing Purchase Orders for contract manufacturers and suppliers.

• Ensuring optimal product movement across the end-to-end value chain by implementing effective supply chain strategies.

• Utilizing analytical skills to draw insights and make recommendations based on data analysis.

• Managing and updating the operational project Gantt chart.

• Liaising regularly with contract manufacturers and suppliers in both the US and UK.

• Ensuring the maintenance of accurate customer credit records.

Requirements • Position: Supply Chain Analyst

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role or sector

• Demonstrable knowledge and experience in Supply Chain Logistics

• Familiarity with Global Supply Chain procedures and strategies

• Ability to develop effective Supply Chain Strategies

• Proven experience in Analyzing Trends within the supply chain sector

• Competence in Inventory Forecasting and management

• Understanding of Logistics and its application in supply chain management

• Experience in managing Cost of Goods Sold (COGS)

• Proficiency in using SAP and Oracle for supply chain management

• Mastery of Excel Formulas for data analysis and report generation

• Excellent Analytical Skills for problem-solving and decision making

• Experience in managing Purchase Orders and Suppliers

• Understanding of Bill of Materials (BOM) and its application in supply chain management
