Job Responsibilities
35% Product Development: Collaborate with Department Leadership to design and coordinate Retail Group Travel experiences that are tailored to engage and attract Club members, ensuring all elements - including motorcoach, rail, cruise, air, hotel, attractions, and sightseeing - are accurately planned and delivered by the assigned due dates.
25% Group Travel Operations Coordination: Perform tasks related to Retail Group Travel trips. Create and distribute comprehensive manifests and itineraries. Prepare and deliver detailed reports on trip logistics, performance metrics, and financial summaries. Process payments from suppliers while maintaining clear records of all transactions. Organize and manage travel documents. Perform additional duties as assigned by Department Leadership, demonstrating flexibility and a proactive approach to problem solving.
25% Operational Efficiency: Ensure all tasks & duties are completed in an efficient manner & within outlined/established timelines. Operate with a focus on continuous improvement and find ways to proactively & independently enhance performance while maintaining quality of work.
15% Marketing: Create accurate and engaging content, including trip flyers and AAA.com pages, in a timely manner to maximize visibility for Retail Group Travel products.
Job Specific Requirements
Ability to manage all logistical aspects of group travel, including creating and distributing manifests & itineraries
Proficiency in preparing detailed reports on trip logistics, performance metrics, and financial summaries
Experience in processing payments and maintaining accurate financial records
Demonstrated ability to complete tasks efficiently and within established timelines
Demonstrated knowledge & understanding of Group Travel
Skilled in Microsoft Office products, Axis, Pivotal, and/or other similiar programs
Ability to adapt to changing circumstances and handle additional duties as assigned by Department Leadership
Proactive approach to problem-solving and a willingness to take on new challenges
High level of accuracy in planning and executing travel arrangements
Excellent listening, communication, presentation, organizational, and interpersonal skills
Knowledgeable on marketing techniques
Physical Requirements
Ability to perform routine office tasks that includes operating a computer for long periods of time, sitting, filing and communicating on the phone
Must be able to lift, carry, push, pull a maximum of 25 lbs
Starting pay range: $22.10/hr - $24.55/hr

Education
Required
- Associates or better in Hospitality and Resort Management
Experience
Required
- 3 years: Experience in travel sales / support
Preferred
- 3 years: Experience in group travel operations/product development
