Geisinger Sales Coordinator, Geisinger Health Plan (Hybrid work from home / Health Plan Store) in Wilkes-Barre, Pennsylvania

Job Summary

Processes Individual applications and provides administrative services to the Individual Sales Manager. Performs duties to provide the highest level of Telemarketing assistance that will maximize Individual Call Center sales.

Job Duties

  • Completes the Daily Lead Distribution and Assignments from multiple lead sources, such as Web, Facebook, BPA, BRC’s, voicemail, Marketplace emails, etc. for Retail (Individual and Medicare) Sales agents, licensed and non-licensed as well as assists with the Monthly Lead Distribution and Assignment for Medicare leads turning 65 (T65) and Individual leads turning 26 (T26), processing fulfillment orders as appropriate.

  • Manages quarterly Scope of Appointment audit for Medicare which includes but is not limited to producing audit file report, research, outreach to employed agents and external brokers, and follow-up.

  • Assists with Application Oversight and Handling. Reviews denied Medicare applications report daily; Notifies employed Medicare agents and external Medicare brokers of application denials to ensure follow-up with prospect.

  • Processes Individual applications from the following sources: direct, broker, eHealth, Pennie etc. as well as processes ICHRA (Individual Coverage Health Reimbursement Arrangement) applications (submitting the application manually or completing applications that were submitted though electronic enrollment platform, Benefit Focus), while maintaining a master applications file for the Individual line of business to ensure timely assignment and reporting.

  • Assists with Retail Sales Commissions:

  • Process and reconcile application and commission data in appropriate systems (Facets, Emma, ICM, Salesforce etc.) to ensure appropriate sales credit and compensation.

  • Review weekly blank Medicare broker report and follow-up as necessary.

  • Researches, adjusts, and responds to all requests for Individual commission inquiries as received from any participant, direct or broker.

  • Process Medicare Broker of Record Change Form requests to ensure correct broker of record is updated in Facets.

  • Validation of new membership for Health Risk Assessment (HRA) payments to external brokers and for reporting to clinical team.

  • Assists with various reporting such as a daily compilation of data and reporting of Medicare Inside Sales daily, monthly and quarterly statistics, application data for Individual Sales, and ad hoc reporting upon request.

  • Assists in annual review of department policies and procedures.

  • Assists with Third Party Marketing Material Opt-ins via HPMS for Medicare.

  • Provides receptionist coverage at the Health Plan Store which includes but is not limited to the following responsibilities:

  • Greet walk-ins and direct them to the correct agents for insurance needs or customer service representative assistance.

  • Document walk-ins in Salesforce

  • Monitor supplies, replenishing as appropriate.

  • Sort and distribute mail.

  • Point of contact for Health Plan Store conference room scheduling.

  • Triage calls and direct as appropriate.

Position Details

Hybrid work details:

3 days per week on-site at retail store - Wilkes Barre Township Marketplace, Wilkes Barre, PA

Internet requirements:

Education

High School Diploma or Equivalent (GED)- (Required)

Experience

Minimum of 1 year-Health Insurance/Managed Care (Required), Minimum of 2 years-Customer Service (Required)
