Our division headquarters in Wickliffe, Ohio, is our precision-engineered-solution center for products, materials, and processes, and is equipped with state-of-the-art development, testing and performance technology.

The Accounts Payable Specialist will perform a variety of monthly accounts payable transactions and payment distributions to meet monthly deadlines and closings. This role will also assist the Accounting team with other various accounting tasks and projects.

Responsibilities

• Process vouchers through Parker’s accounts payable system for invoices

and check requests.

• Perform month end balance sheet reconciliations.

• Provide customer service to plant personnel, other Parker divisions and suppliers.

This role investigating issues and answering questions and directs questions to appropriate resources.

• Assist Accounting Team with tasks and special projects.

• Maintains and enhances lean office culture at the Division.

Education: Associates Degree

Experience: 1 to 2 years’ experience in accounts payable function.

Computer Skills:

Microsoft Office Software – Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.

Experience with accounts payable software systems.

Personal Skills:

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

• Must be able to multi-task and prioritize workload.

• Must be well organized.

• Must be able to work and participate in a team environment.

Physical Requirements:

• Sedentary work that primarily involves sitting/standing.

• Communicating with others to exchange information.

• Typing and repeating motions that may include the wrists, hands and/or fingers.

• Assessing the accuracy, neatness and thoroughness of the work assigned.

• Prolonged sitting and viewing information on computer screens
