Full Time position, schedule would be Monday through Friday from 7:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.

This is an exciting opportunity for an Inventory Control Specialist who is passionate about optimizing inventory levels and ensuring accurate stock management. We are looking for a responsible and detail-oriented individual who will be responsible for receiving, storing, and inventory control for our warehouse. Verifying goods received against Purchase Orders (PO s), maintaining records of received goods, confirming parts received against parts sent out, and condition of parts and packages for final storage in warehouse. Perform inventory control, including cycle count, data entry, report generation and reconciliation. You must be able to work independently and with the highest levels of integrity.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Maintain accurate records of all inventory transactions, including receipts, transfers, and adjustments.

Verify part condition and quantity against Purchase Orders.

Conduct regular audits of inventory to identify discrepancies and take corrective actions.

Receive orders against P.O.s, input information into inventory system and put stock away in warehouse.

Manage inventory of products stored in the warehouse; ensure inventory accuracy.

Update computer system with appropriate information and notes concerning received parts.

Make timely and accurate system updates.

Establishes and maintains backup source for high-demand items.

Develops and maintains good working relationships with vendors.

Assist Operations manager as needed and directed.

Required Knowledge and Skills:

Understanding of inventory control procedures.

Be familiar with and able to interpret packing slips.

Enter accurate and correct information into the computer to acknowledge receipt of the goods from the purchase order in a timely manner.

Identify and monitor stock turnover in the facility.

Schedule cycle counting.

Design a strategy that leverages the benefits of automating management, including product slotting, goods flows and procurement.

Verify all pertinent part information against system specifications.

Efficiently operate computers and proprietary software systems.

Experience working with Word and Excel.

Must have a strong attention to detail and accuracy in recordkeeping.

Proficient typing skills.

Ability to manage multiple projects at one time in an efficient and timely manner.

Good written and verbal communication skills.

Good problem-solving skills.

Extremely organized and able to work with minimum supervision.

Ability to perform basic math calculations.

Education, Training, and Licensure Requirements:

High School diploma or GED

2 years experience in inventory management a plus.

Must e able to successfully pass a background check and a drug test.

Physical Requirements:

Prolonged standing, walking, bending, kneeling, stooping, crouching, crawling, reaching above shoulders, use of equipment including repetitive motions, and frequently pinching and/or gripping.

Requires coordination, stamina, and good manual and finger dexterity (ability to quickly move your hand, your hand together with your arm, or your two hands to grasp, manipulate, or assemble objects); Ability to make precise coordinated movements.

Must be physically able to lift up to 65 pounds frequently and work without restrictions.
