Description

We are seeking a Human Resources Business Partner to support our Kansas Building Materials Division. The HR Business Partner is a critical role and will provide HR support for 170+ employees in that division.

The business partner will be responsible for a variety of HR functions including recruiting, employee engagement, performance management, supervisor development and compliance.

The ideal candidate will demonstrate agility by spending time at multiple operations facilities and building strong partnerships with internal customers. The position is in Wichita, KS and will require a monthly visit to Salina and Manhattan, KS.

A Typical Day

Navigate sensitive employee matters with utmost discretion.

Provide consulting and coaching to supervisors in managing employee experience and performance multiple facilities in Wichita.

Partner with recruiter and hiring managers to transition new hires through onboarding.

Establish and manage a streamlined process and a positive candidate experience.

Identify trends with employee experience and work with managers to develop sustainable solutions.

Maintain personnel files and documentation in accordance with federal and state laws, including Employee Files, Medical Files Job files, EEO data.

Provide coaching and support to leaders in managing employee performance.

Collaboration with HR team across divisions.
