Essential Responsibilities:

  • Greets guests as they enter, seating them or putting them on a waiting list as necessary.
  • Provides guests with menus and answering any initial questions.
  • Assigns guests to tables they prefer, while keeping table rotation in mind so that servers receive a balanced number of guest tables.
  • Engage with guests to ensure they're satisfied with food and service.
  • Responds to guest complaints and helps to resolve them.
  • Answers phone calls, taking reservations and answering questions.
  • Possesses adequate knowledge of the menu.
  • Provides world-class guest service.
  • Embrace OReach, Green Team, Guest Service, Team Member Satisfaction, Health and Wellness and Safety culture.
  • Performs other duties and responsibilities as required or requested.

Hours:

  • Due to the nature of the business, scheduling may vary and include nights, weekends, and holidays.

Education and Experience:

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Restaurant or customer service experience is preferred.

Physical Requirements of the Position:

  • Light Work: Exerting up to 40 pounds of force occasionally (Occasionally: activity or condition exists up to 1/3 of the time), and/or up to 20 pounds of force frequently (Frequently: activity or condition exists up to 1/3 to 2/3 of the time), and/or a negligible amount of force constantly (Constantly: activity or condition exists up to 2/3 or most of the time) to move objects. Requires walking or standing to a significant degree.
  • May be required to lift in excess of 40 pounds on occasion.

Physical Activity of the Position:

  • Climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, reaching, standing, walking, pushing, pulling, lifting, picking/pinching with fingers, typing, grasping, feeling, talking, hearing, repetitive motion.

Environmental Conditions:

  • Inside: Protection from weather conditions but not necessarily from temperature changes. A job is considered inside if the worker spends approximately 75 percent or more of the time inside.
