Job Title: 2nd Shift - General Laborer
Job Description
We are seeking dedicated individuals to join our team as General Laborers on the 2nd shift. You will be involved in the production of high-end rubber strips used in automotive and non-automotive applications. This role involves various tasks to ensure the smooth operation of the production line and the quality of our products.
Responsibilities
Weigh out chemicals based on individual batch needs
Mix chemicals together and add them to a container
Package rubber strips into cardboard or plastic boxes
Use a forklift to move full containers (training provided for sit-down, gas forklifts)
Ensure the machine is running smoothly
Take measurement checks to ensure the product is at the correct thickness
Essential Skills
1+ year of general labor experience
1+ year of job tenure within last couple of jobs
Ability to lift 60+ lbs
Ability to read and speak English
Additional Skills & Qualifications
6 months to 1 year of production/manufacturing experience
Experience in packing, production, machine operation, inspection, and forklift operating
Experience working in a warehouse environment
Manual labor experience

Work Environment and Pay
The work environment can be dirty and requires wearing steel-toed boots, jeans, and a work shirt. The 1st shift hour are 6:00am-2:00pm, Monday to Friday. The 2nd shift hours are from 2pm to 10pm, Monday to Friday. Pay starts at 21.62/hr on first shift, and 22.12/hr on second shift. The role involves lifting 50-60 lbs and rotating tasks to avoid repetitive strain. Candidates must be prepared for physical labor and the use of forklifts, with training provided.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $22.42 - $22.92/hr.
