Barclays Services Corp. seeks AVP - Application Developer in Whippany, New Jersey (multiple positions).Number of positions: 5 JOB DUTIES:1. Design and implement micro services using Spring Boot to provide solutions to business problems and requirements.2. Write Custom Basket Trade Capture Service using Spring to capture underliers from single upload template from Sales/Front Office.3. Troubleshoot performance and functional problems on development, testing and production environments.4. Support and troubleshoot any production queries and issues, and communicate findings with business stake holders.5. Java developer responsible for leading and implementing critical client demand business initiatives within synthetics.6. Analyze, design and implement components in Barclays’ swap trading platform “Delta1,” using technologies such as Java, Spring, REST APIs, SQL, etc.7. May telecommute. REQUIREMENTS:The Employer will accept a Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering (any field), Math, Statistics, or a related field and 5 years of experience in the job offered or in a related occupation.
