Adecco US, Inc. Lockbox Payment Processor in Westmont, Illinois
Adecco is seeking a detail-oriented Payment Processing Specialist to join our team in Westmont, IL. In this role, you will play a crucial part in our production environment by accurately preparing transactions for deposit. Your responsibilities will include manually extracting payments from envelopes, sorting checks and invoices, and inputting payment amounts into our specialized software. Additionally, you will follow specific instructions for each account to ensure deposits are prepared accurately and in compliance with client requirements. Assignment Type: Temporary
Work Hours: Sunday to Thursday, 8:30 PM to 5:00 AM (flexibility available if needed)
Pay Rate: $16.80 per hour
Key Responsibilities:
Manually extract payments from envelopes and sort checks and invoices.
Accurately input payment amounts into a unique software application.
Follow specific instructions unique to each account to prepare deposits.
Re-associate check copies with invoices and envelopes as required.
Sort completed batches in the outgoing mail area for return to clients.
Maintain high standards of quality and efficiency in all tasks.
Perform general housekeeping in and around the work environment.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent.
Basic computer skills.
Strong organizational skills.
One (1) year experience in banking operations preferred.
10-key or data entry skills preferred.
Working Conditions:
Ability to lift and move objects up to 25 lbs. frequently.
Must be able to sit for long periods (up to 4 hours).
Work involves repetitive motions.
Temperature-controlled office environment.

Pay Details: $16.80 per hour
