We are seeking a skilled and experienced Technical Analyst who will work with stakeholders to design and document user requirements, maintain existing applications, and develop new applications related to Membership, Sales Audit, and Newsstand/Magazine management.

WhatYouDo:

• Work with stakeholders to design and document user requirements

•Maintain existing applications as well as develop new applications

•Develop, test and implement code following best practices and coding standards

•Collaborate with team members to build effective, scalable solutions

•Participate in status meeting and be able to communicate project status

Knowledge&Experience:

•Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related technical degree, or equivalent experience

•Five years of working experience in Dot Net Programming

•Five years or working experience with SQL Server and/or Oracle databases

•Knowledge of Retail or Retail based systems a plus

•Knowledge of EDI a plus

•Microsoft .Net C#

•Microsoft .Net framework version 4.5 and above

•Microsoft.Net Core framework version 2.0 and above

•WPF, Winforms, Webforms and MVC

•API’s and Web Services

•Client side scripting using Java Script and JQuery

•Visual Studio 2013 and above

•SQL Server 2012 and above including SSMS, SSRS and SSIS

•Oracle and SQL Developer

•ETL Processing to load and generate files

•Web API, LINQ, ADO.Net and Azure

•Design patterns

•Distributed and scalable application development

•Familiarity with version control systems such as PVCS/Subversion/TFS

•Strong interpersonal and communications skills with the ability to clearly articulate yourself and ideas both verbally and in writing to users and management.

•Motivated independent self-starter.

•Must be able to comprehend business processes.

•Strong organizational, analytical and time management skills.

•Ability to work well independently and in a team-oriented environment.

•Ability to take initiative and responsibility.

•Suggests and share technical alternatives to improve and streamline processes.
