What You Will Do:

  • You will apply your C++ software development experience to design, implement, integrate, and test embedded software applications to be deployed to advanced systems that process modern communications for the U.S. Government , detection, identification, direction finding, geolocation, and collection of modern wireless communication signals and radars.

  • You will be responsible for integration and maintenance of a product, including debugging issues to root causes.

  • You will put into practice your solid understanding of concepts related to software architecture and design, and agile programming practices including continuous integration and automated build and test practices.

    What You Will Learn:

  • You will learn COMINT/ELINT principles and concepts and work side-by-side with industry recognized technical leaders to develop and implement state of the art systems.

Qualifications You Must Have:

  • US citizenship is required, as only US citizens are eligible for security clearance

  • Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD TS/SCI or higher clearance is required

  • Requires a Bachelor’s degree and 12 months or less of relevant professional work experience (excluding internships)

    Qualifications We Prefer:

  • Typically requires minimum of 2 years of experience developing object-oriented C++ software solutions in an embedded Linux environment.

  • Experience with one or more scripting languages, Python, Linux script, bash

  • Experience with Object Oriented Design and Development

  • Experience working both in a team environment and individually.

  • Experience with Qt

  • Experience with User Interface development

  • Experience with Angular web GUI development

  • Experience and/or knowledge of network protocols, such as TCP/IP

  • Experience in development embedded software

  • Experience with Multithreading

  • Experience in integrating software with hardware

  • Experience with or basic understanding of telecommunications systems concepts and/or signal processing

  • Experience with Configuration Management tools, such as git

  • Experience maintaining and using build processes (makefiles, CMake)

  • Experience with or basic understanding of ITU Standards

  • Existing TS/SCI clearance (Active within the last 24 months)

The salary range for this role is 64,000 USD - 128,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
