Personal Banker Specialist

Personal Banker Specialists are responsible for assisting customers with day to day bank transactions and opening accounts and processing loan applications and closing loans.
Job duties
- Provides customers with information for retail and business accounts from opening to closing in a thorough, accurate and timely manner
- Processes loan applications and closes loans
- Process routine financial business for customers accurately and in a timely manner
- Provide quality customer service; promptly address customer concerns
- Listen to customers and recommend solutions that best fit their needs; cross-sell and make referrals when appropriate
- Establish and maintain relationships with customers
- Maintain current knowledge of bank products, services, policies, and procedures
- Prepares and maintains various reports and records
Skills and Abilities
- Thorough understanding of the features and benefits of all bank consumer and business products and services
- Thorough understanding of bank operating policies and procedures which impact consumer services
- Experience providing excellent customer service
- Proficient communication -- in person, over the phone, and via email
- Ability to multi-task and problem-solve and strong attention to detail
- Proficient math and computer skills
- Minimum of three years of banking experience (preferred)
