At The Iowa Clinic our people are the most important resource. We’re looking for an experiencedFacilities Directorto join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the coordination and oversight of new construction, remodeling, and/or major renovations of space to fit the needs of the organization on all Clinic locations, analyzing and accepting vendor bid proposals, development and oversight of RFP processes, furniture/equipment procurement, interior design, etc. The Facilities Director will oversee building/space lease arrangements (new and renewal), preparing documents, negotiating requirements, and finalizing contract terms. The Facilities Director is accountable for overall budget and coordination of internal and external facilities management including physical security of all Clinic locations, and other special projects as assigned by the CEO. Strong communication and organizational skills are a must!
This job might be for you if you have…
Bachelor’s degree in business, Healthcare or Planning related field or equivalent combination of education and experience.
3 years of previous experience in facilities planning/management processes required. Working knowledge of accounting/finance principals preferred.
