The Senior CRM Developer is responsible for application development around Generac’s Salesforce applications and part of a Global Salesforce Center of Excellence. Designs must provide for scalability, extensibility, consistency, flexibility, and supportability. The individual will assist in meeting with the business to understand needs, collect and write specifications, manage the backlog, perform the development, and drive continuous code integration. Success in this position requires an assertive, confident attitude and a commitment to working as a part of a team to meet critical delivery schedules.

This position is onsite at our headquarters in Waukesha, Wisconsin.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Assist with the planning, design, and development of Salesforce applications using best practice design patterns to ensure robust scalability which are easily enhanced and extendable in line with evolving business growth and needs

• Provide necessary documentation and adhere to development best practices and standards

• Meet with the end users to define business requirements and system goals and identify and resolve business systems issues

• Maintain knowledge of changing Salesforce technologies as well as socialize ideas within the team to keep up with the latest technology trends

Minimal Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Business or related field or equivalent experience

• 5 years of development experience designing, coding, implementing, maintaining, and evolving web applications, Salesforce solutions and integrations

• Experience conducting product demos and incorporating business feedback to meet customer service business objectives

• Experience working with the salesforce platform on configuration, customization (Lightning Components, Apex, Visualforce, SOQL, etc), integration, security, administration and other core features

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience customizing, Lightning, and programming with APEX APIs, APEX Triggers, Visual force, Apex Data Loader etc.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

• Defining and delivering scalable technical solution architecture and integrated solutions involving different Salesforce clouds (including built not limited to Sales, Service, Marketing, Platform) and a variety of middleware products (Mulesoft, Informatica, etc) establishing quality and schedule

• Producing deliverables within a diverse, fast paced environment, collaborating effectively across teams and juggling multiple projects and initiatives simultaneously

• Understanding of enterprise applications to which Salesforce.com is commonly integrated to enable end-to-end ecosystem for enterprise customers (e.g., SAP, Oracle, and related cloud and/or on-premises ERP business applications)

• Demonstrating industry experience and knowledge in manufacturing and technology

The employee is regularly required to stand and walk. On occasion the incumbent may be required to stoop, bend or reach above the shoulders. The employee must occasionally lift up to 25 pounds. Specific conditions of this job are typical of frequent and continuous computer-based work requiring periods of sitting, close vision and ability to adjust focus. Occasional travel.
