Roles and Responsibilities
Works with MR Applications and Workflow Process to develop clinical technology roadmap
Work closely with other applications across global poles to drive common applications pipeline/strategy across global product lines.
Identifies internal and external clinical application opportunities and needs
Responsible for competitive assessment from publications, site visits, and intellectual property monitoring.
Drive WWTP discussion for applications development with the support from applications architects across global Apps/IQ team and input from marketing/ASL/GRC.
Identifies platform technology needed to realize the roadmap
Works with larger team including, GRC, S&T, and potentially luminaries to determine and retire technical risk on the clinical technology
Work with product teams to transition clinical technology to NPI
Grow applications expertise with broad clinical areas within Apps/IQ team
Participate actively in customer focus groups and VOC sessions
Required Qualifications
10+ Years working experience in MR development including imaging physics, pulse sequences, clinical applications and safety.
Main contributor for 10+ applications which are popular in MR industry.
10+ MR application related patents
10+ Years experience with large-scale software development cycle including design, analysis, testing and debugging.
10+ Years experience in bringing a product through concept, design, production and into the min commercial environment to conform to industrial and regulatory requirements.
5+ Years of principle engineer experience.
Strong programming skills in C/C++/OOD/OOP in UNIX/Linux and MS Windows environment.
