Job Title: Mechanical Assembler
Job Description
We are looking for a Mechanical Assembler to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for the mechanical assembly of tank equipment, wiring, and conduit. You will also perform repairs on units, parts, and materials, read and understand schedules and workflow requirements, retrieve materials from storage for assembly, inspect assemblies for conformance to design criteria, keep tools organized and the work area orderly, and write maintenance work orders.
Responsibilities
Perform mechanical assembly of tank equipment, wiring, and conduit.
Conduct repairs on units, parts, and materials.
Read and understand schedules and workflow requirements.
Retrieve materials from storage for assembly.
Inspect assemblies for conformance to design criteria.
Keep tools organized and the work area orderly.
Write maintenance work orders.
Essential Skills
2+ years of mechanical assembly experience with basic hand and power tools.
2+ years of blueprint reading experience.
Experience with mechanical assemblies, blueprints, schematics, hydraulics, and pneumatics.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- 1+ year of crane experience (preferred, not required).

Work Environment
You will be working in a very large, clean, and organized manufacturing setting. The team size includes 60 assemblers on each shift. The dress code requires steel-toed shoes, jeans, and safety glasses. The work shifts include 2nd shift (3pm-11pm) and 3rd shift (11pm-7am), with overtime usually every other Saturday and no mandatory Sundays. Training will be provided on the 1st shift for 2-6 months (7am-3pm).

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $60923.20 - $60923.20/yr.

80 hours of accrued vacation annually
$1.25 premium for 2nd and 3rd Shifts
