Adecco US, Inc. CAD Drafter in Waukesha, Wisconsin
Description
Working from customer drawings, data files and engineering sketches, prepare drawings for use in the manufacture of castings and assemblies using CAD system.
Use solid modeling to create casting, pattern and die designs, applying shrink allowance per engineering standards, including weight calculations.
Prepare machining drawings and process sheets for machining operations, including all manufacturing notes, tolerances, part weights and other requirements and specifications.
Produce and maintain die drawings for the Die Shop.
Maintain CAD database including drawing numbers, revision levels and conversions to item numbers as required.
Operate plotter to produce hard copies of drawings.
Requirements
Strong computer skills with Microsoft Office products, experience/knowledge of Unigraphics NX or similar CAD system, including solid modeling, is essential.
Strong written and verbal communication skills, including reporting and analyzing results and preparing presentations with attention to detail.
Experience preparing manufacturing drawings, preferably in a machining environment.
Experience maintaining a database of CAD files.
Formal technical education in CAD (preferably Unigraphics).
Pay Details: $22.00 to $34.00 per hour
