District Office Administrative Assistant / HR Clerk
Job Overview: Responsible for attending to the needs of all people who come into the office. They are the face of the District Office, so their role of being friendly and welcoming is critical. This is a 12 month Level 1 position starting July 1, 2025.
Reports to: Superintendent/Human Resources Director
Essential Job Functions:
- First contact for all visitors and calls into District Office
- Answering multi-line phones, directing calls to appropriate person/location
- Following protocol for visitors entering the building
- Assist with posting lunch accont payments
- Assist with verifying a variety of payments from activities and food service
- Point of contact for families/students for Food Service platform, in regards to account troubleshooting, account balances and Free/Reduced Lunch Program
- Coordinate and schedule meetings for Superintendent and HR
- Assist with preemployment verfication, new hire on boarding, employee file manitnenace
- Assist with data entry process for semimonthly payroll
- Building Rental Coordinator and Contact
Additional Responsibilities:
- Any other duties assigned by leadership team
Qualifications and Requirements:
- High School Diploma or G.E.D
- Basic Computer Skills
- Must be able to be friendly and welcoming at all times
- Needs to be organized and a multi tasker
- Needs to be a problem solver and able to work independently, and as a team
