We support Government and prime system integrators with engineering and management expertise. Allegient Defense helps clients with challenging Science & Technology, Engineering Acquisition, and Program Management Mission requirements.
Allegient Defense is a leader in advanced technology research and solutions development, and we are growing quickly. We are looking to hire a Grants Manager for one of our federal clients.
Essential Job Functions
Support FHWA Division Offices with the grant agreement execution process as they help grant recipients develop a grant agreement and provide other information.
Support the maintenance of the grants management system to ensure that tracking information and grant documents are accurate and up to date.
Track the progress of grants through grant agreement execution, amendments, quarterly reporting.
Attend meetings.
Manage relationships with DOT staff involved in the program.
Serve as a resource to the SS4A Team.
Assist with documenting programmatic processes and decisions.
Support program evaluation by helping document successes, notable practices, and challenges.
Support grant close out functions.
Support special projects.
Requirements
Education Requirement:
- Bachelor’s Degree in a Business-related field (e.g. Business Administration, Accounting, etc.)
Experience Requirements:
Minimum of 4 years of experience in grants management
Proficient in Microsoft 365 software (Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint, etc.)
Experience tracking, reporting on, and executing grants
4 years of experience in program management or program management support, preferably within the Department of Transportation
