Google Embedded Senior Software Engineer, Pixel Power Software in Warsaw, Poland
Minimum qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience.
5 years of experience with software development in C programming language, and data structures/algorithms.
3 years of experience testing, maintaining, or launching software products, and 1 year of experience with software design and architecture.
Experience in embedded systems development, SoC, Linux kernel.
Preferred qualifications:
Master's degree or PhD in Computer Science or a related technical field.
1 year of experience in a technical leadership role.
Experience in power management software for embedded systems.

The Pixel Power Management Software Team Leads, create and support software solutions to manage, measure, and monitor Pixel device power along with detection, attribution, and mitigation of power issues in order to improve battery life for Pixel devices and by extension, the Android ecosystem for end-user experience with battery life.
The Google Pixel team focuses on designing and delivering the world's most helpful mobile experience. The team works on shaping the future of Pixel devices and services through some of the most advanced designs, techniques, products, and experiences in consumer electronics. This includes bringing together the best of Google’s artificial intelligence, software, and hardware to build global smartphones and create transformative experiences for users across the world.
Develop and support software solutions and tools for Pixel power management, power diagnosability, and power optimization.
Lead team efforts in design, development, and support for advanced power optimization Software/Firmware for Pixel SoC.
Prioritize optimization for power, latency, and system stability.
Debug and triage power issues.
Improve observability of the hardware and subsystem power states to Android HAL.
