ManpowerGroup Quality Assurance Specialist l in Warrendale, Pennsylvania
Our client, a leader in the manufacturing industry, is seeking a Quality Assurance Specialist I to join their team. As a Quality Assurance Specialist I, you will be part of the Quality Assurance department supporting various teams. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, excellent communication abilities, and a proactive approach to problem-solving which will align successfully in the organization.
Job Title: Quality Assurance Specialist I
Location: Warrendale, PA
Pay Range: $23 to DOE
What's the Job?
Maintain and improve the QA/QC program as defined in the Company’s Quality Policy Manual.
Implement preventive actions to reduce and/or prevent quality problems.
Investigate quality problems by reviewing quality trends and coordinating corrective actions.
Communicate with new suppliers to familiarize them with our clients' Quality Assurance procedures.
Travel to customer and/or supplier locations to analyze and remedy quality problems.
What's Needed?
Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline with 0 to 2 years of experience in quality control in a manufacturing environment.
Basic knowledge of quality control, engineering, production, lean manufacturing, ISO 9001, and statistical methods.
Ability to read and understand electrical and mechanical drawings.
Proficiency in using inspection and test tools and equipment safely and properly.
Willingness to work Monday through Friday from 8am to 5pm, with the possibility of overtime.
