Details: Job Title: Quality Engineer Location: Warren, OH Zip Code: 44483 Start Date: Right Away Job Type: Direct Hire Schedule: 8am - 5pm/7am - 4pm Pay Rate: $70,000 - $100,000/annually DoE Keywords: #QualityEngineer #EngineeringJobs JOB RESPONSIBILITIES: * Evaluate new parts for PPAP submissions in a timely manner. * Develop, maintain, debug and train others on manual and automated data acquisition and measurement hardware and software. * Report out studies from such systems in a clear and professional manner as needed. * Report any critical quality problems to the Quality Manager or other management personnel. * Establish containment dates of critical problems using available production reports, MRP system, etc. * Initiate root cause analysis of such problems. * Limited Interaction with customers in a clear and professional manner in person, on the phone and in writing. * Initiate and lead continuous improvement and cost savings projects. * Perform failure evaluations on suspect samples. Perform evaluations of other company's quality systems as required. REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS: * Experience driving efficiency and change. * Hands on shop floor quality experience within forging, automotive or a steel environment. * Strong quality engineering background.
