Maui Ocean Center Retail Warehouse Supervisor in Wailuku, Hawaii
RESPONSIBILITIES
Must be comfortable working on a computer
Be able to multi-task
Maintain upbeat, professional attitude
Must be self-motivated
Have a sense of ownership and pride in the aquarium and Maui Ocean Treasures
Must be able to bend, stoop, and lift 50lbs or more and be able to stand for long periods of time in order to assist customers on the sales floor, as well as helping with restocking the sales floor and helping with various projects
Be able to communicate clearly with others both verbally and in written form in the English language
Must be organized and maintain a clean and well-stocked station on a daily basis
Conduct positive and professional interactions with customers, fellow employees, and vendors/business partners
Maintain a healthy inventory integrity
All staff must help with annual physical inventory
Actively contribute to meeting daily sales goals
If needed, help to make and drive sales on the sales floor
Help with various projects, such as cleaning, restocking, setting-up merchandise displays on the sales floor, etc.
Must be able to competently process Retail transactions on the POS register, if needed
Some Retail experience required and warehouse experience is a plus
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Must be able to bend, stoop, and lift at least 50 lbs
Self-Motivated and organized with attention to detail
Great people skills, outgoing and pleasant. The ability to provide excellent customer service daily and conduct oneself in a professional manner
