Ridgeview Medical Center Cosmetic Dermatology Advance Practice Provider in Waconia, Minnesota

Purpose of Job This position is responsible for providing high quality medical and cosmetic dermatological services to patients. Job Functions Assesses, diagnoses, provides and implements a treatment plan of care and follow up as needed. Performs physical examinations and reviews patient histories, identifying abnormal conditions Interprets and evaluates patient data Orders, performs or reviews diagnostic and therapeutic procedures and treatments such as: Laser treatments, Botox, Dermal Filler Injections, Kybella Provides instructions regarding patient care, disease prevention, and health promotion Creates and maintains appropriate patient records including transmitting or executing specific orders Works directly with Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) to obtain DEA registration Maintains patient confidentiality Performs other duties as assigned. Minimum Education/Work Experience Graduate of an accredited NP or PA program Two years of Cosmetic Dermatology experience Proof of Certification in Hands On Botulinum Toxin Training (if less than 2 year industry experience) Proof of Certification in Hands On Complete Dermal Filler Training (if less than 2 year industry experience) Proof of Certification in Hands On Complete Laser Training (if less than 2 year industry experience) Knowledge/Skills/Abilities Ability to effectively handle high-stress fast paced environment Ability to meet and maintain the necessary background checks as aligned with position functions Ability to communicate in the English language for effective written and verbal correspondence in order to complete job functions as mentioned above Ability to multi-task Ability to respond appropriately to unpredictable situations and diverse patient populations Excellent written and verbal communication skills License/Certifications Current Minnesota NP or PA licensure CPR Certification Ridgeview Medical Center will not discriminate against or harass any employee or applicant for employment because of race, color, religion, sex, pregnancy, citizenship, national origin, age, disability, military service, veteran status, genetic information, union membership, creed, marital status, familial status, sexual orientation, gender identity, status with regards to public assistance, membership in a local human rights commission, or any other category that may be protected by law.
