Description We are seeking a meticulous Accounts Payable Clerk to join our team in Von Ormy, Texas. As part of our manufacturing team, you will be responsible for handling accounts payable transactions, maintaining accurate records, and addressing vendor inquiries. This role offers a contract to permanent employment opportunity.
Responsibilities:
• Ensure the accurate and efficient processing of customer credit applications
• Maintain precise records of customer credit
• Promptly resolve customer inquiries
• Monitor customer accounts and take appropriate actions
• Review and verify invoice details against purchase orders and receipts
• Enter accurate invoice information into the accounting system, thus ensuring the timely posting of all transactions
• Prepare and schedule payments for approved invoices, adhering to company policies
• Communicate effectively with vendors to resolve payment discrepancies and address queries
• Reconcile accounts payable transactions to ensure the accuracy and timeliness of all records
• Support the accounting team during month-end and year-end closings by reconciling accounts payable ledgers. Requirements • Proficient in Accounts Payable (AP) processes and procedures
• Demonstrated ability to handle Check Runs efficiently
• Experience in Coding Invoices for accurate financial tracking
• Strong Data Entry skills for precise record-keeping
• Proficient in Invoice Processing to ensure timely payments
• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel for financial data management
• Experience with Quickbooks Online for streamlined financial operations
• Proficient in Expense Reporting to maintain accurate financial records
