Cabela's Workforce Labor Specialist-1 in United States
POSITION SUMMARY:
The Workforce Labor Specialist will be responsible for supporting all retail labor initiatives. This includes being a direct point of contact for all levels of retail leadership to coach and train on scheduling processes, function as scheduling system helpdesk support, updating reports, and assisting with new store scheduling.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Works with retail store leadership to leverage labor, and ensure appropriate staffing coverage while maximizing sales opportunities, operational execution and optimizing customer service.
Responds to workforce management-related field inquiries, determine root cause to identify potential gaps in processes or documentation, and recommend suitable solutions.
Analyzes retail store processes related to payroll and staffing allocation to identify areas of opportunity for improvement and operational changes.
Updates reports and other analysis tools to support labor initiatives.
Support new store scheduling processes.

EXPERIENCE/QUALIFICATIONS:
Minimum Degree Required: Associate Degree
Years of experience: Two years working with scheduling software
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITY:
Retail industry experience required
Highly comfortable with navigating large data sets from multiple sources
Understanding of HR & Payroll processes
Proficient skills in Excel, including pivot tables
Effective written and verbal communication skills required

Regular computer sitting.
Occasional walking and standing.
INDEPENDENT JUDGEMENT :
- Performs duties within scope of general company policies, procedures, and objectives. Analyzes problems and performs needs assessments. Uses judgment in adapting broad guidelines to achieve desired result. Regular exercise of independent judgment within accepted practices. Makes recommendations that affect policies, procedures, and practices.
