About the Job:

An opportunity has arisen for a Director of Sales – MICE & Travel to join Madinat Jumeirah Resort . The main duties and responsibilities of this role:

  • Ensure achievement of the financial targets for the Mice, Corporate and C&I Segment through implementation of short and long terms sales plans for the segment

  • Actively leads, coaches, and develops a team of experts in their respective markets, ensuring that each performs at their very best and that MJ as a complex remains leader and has its share of market wallet in the luxury segment.

  • Build, maintain and keep nurturing positive relationship with key partners to maximize on strategic goals

  • Provides support and tactical innovation to the DOSM on Mice Market strategy either by partners or markets

  • Be always a spokesperson of Jumeirah’s Brand, its image and ethics connecting corporate policy and strategy with all Sales actions

  • Amplify stakeholders’ satisfactions of the sales team

About You:

The ideal candidate for this position will have the following experience and qualifications:

  • At least 3 years in a Leadership role in the luxury hotel company.

  • In-depth experience understanding of the Mice and Corporate market.

  • Local and International market media experience.

  • Excellent organizational and multitasking skills.

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
