Job Description
The Postdoctoral Research Associate position will work primarily in one of the following areas: computer vision, AI-driven automation, and/or robotics for controlled environment agriculture (CEA).
Responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
Implement AI approaches for crop sensing, growth and stress monitoring and study the plant interaction with microclimate. (temp, humidity, LED lights)
Develop integrated hardware and software for AI-driven robotic and automation systems in CEA
Lead activities such as design, test, verification, modification, fabrication, and assembly of prototype robotic and automation systems
Assist research group in designing and implementing research studies, data collection and analysis, and manuscript writing for publications
Presentation (oral and poster) of research results in scientific meetings and conferences
Performs other duties as assigned.
Required Education and Experience:
- Appropriate doctoral degree.

- Ability to multi-task and work cooperatively with others.
