Job Description:

The Business Analyst for HR People Analytics is responsible for for collecting, analyzing, and reporting on HR-related data to help inform strategic decision-making across the organization. This role requires a blend of technical data analytics skills and an understanding of HR functions and processes.

The successful individual will work under general supervision of the Senior Director, Global HR Systems and will work closely with supporting development teams. Key customers include all functions within HR as well as the Payroll, Finance, and IT teams.

Essential Functions:

  • Collaborate with HR segment and functional COE teams to understand business needs and define analytical requirements.

  • Analyze HR data, related to employee lifecycle events, including recruitment, onboarding, performance management, turnover, and offboarding.

  • Partner with data solutions team to develop dashboards and reports using Power BI to meet customer business needs.

  • Identify trends and provide recommendations to improve HR processes and decision=making.

  • Present data and insights in a clear and compelling manner to HR leadership and other stakeholders.

  • Support HR projects with data extraction, analysis, and visualization.

  • Provide recommendations based on data to improve HR policies, processes, and practices.

  • Participate in the development and implementation of predictive analytics and workforce planning models.

    Qualifications:

  • Requires Bachelor’s degree with 6 years of prior related experience or graduate degree with 4 years prior related experience. In lieu of degree, a minimim of 10 years of prior related experience.

  • At least 5 years proven experience in data analysis and reporting within an HR context.

    Preferred Additional Skills:

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret complex datasets.

  • Proficiency with HRIS and data analytics tools (e.g., PeopleSoft HR, SAP SuccessFactors, Power BI).

  • Knowledge of HR functions, and relevant regulatory compliance.

  • Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration and training delivery.

  • Knowledge of Agile project management methodologies.

  • Entire Microsoft Office suite products (Teams, OneNote, Word, etc)

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to changing priorities.

  • Creative thinking and the ability to propose innovative solutions to complex problems.

  • Strong leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and guide teams towards achieving project goals.

    In compliance with pay transparency requirements, the salary range for this role in Colorado State, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, Vermont and New York State is $71,500-$132,500. For California, Seattle, Washington D.C., Maryland Greater Washington D.C. area, the city of Denver, Washington State and New York City, the salary range for this role is $82,500-$153,000. This is not a guarantee of compensation or salary, as final offer amount may vary based on factors including but not limited to experience and geographic location. L3Harris also offers a variety of benefits, including health and disability insurance, 401(k) match, flexible spending accounts, EAP, education assistance, parental leave, paid time off, and company-paid holidays. The specific programs and options available to an employee may vary depending on date of hire, schedule type, and the applicability of collective bargaining agreements.
