Catholic Charities of the Archdiocese Associate Director - WIC Facilities in United States

Responsible for overseeing the daily maintenance and custodial operations and special projects primarily of the WIC programming centers as well as all properties leased or managed by Catholic Charities of the Archdiocese of Chicago
Directly and indirectly supervises the work of maintenance and custodian workers primarily within WIC centers
Coordinates with outside consultants, contractors, and vendors as needed
Responsible for management of preventive maintenance plan
Makes recommendations to Senior Director on any structural changes or modifications needed to ensure compliance with all policies and procedures, professional standards, and external requirements of all relevant regulatory, licensing, or accrediting bodies while performing job expectations
Ensure that all building and maintenance costs are within budget
Manages all client and employee complaints as well as crisis situations in consultation with his/her supervisory chain and in compliance with policies and procedures and treats each case with sensitivity and expedience
Manages a wide array of administrative and technical tasks to ensure compliance with policies and procedures, professional standards, external requirements of all relevant regulatory, licensing, or accrediting bodies while performing job expectations
Manages and makes repairs to general maintenance equipment
Prepares and successfully executes short and long-term plans for usage of space and capital improvements
In collaboration with his/her supervisor, receives and analyzes contractor bids and makes recommendations to chain-of-command
Responsible for handling and/or coordinating services to resolve any maintenance-related emergencies, as needed
Fills in for maintenance and custodial associate positions, when needed

Education and Experience Requirements:
Relevant Education:Preferred: High School/GEDMinimum: High School/GED
Relevant Experience:Preferred: 5+ years in building facilities and 5+ years supervisory experienceMinimum: 3 years in building facilities and 3 years supervisory experience
Certification/Licensure:Preferred: Related technical Certificate or LicenseMinimum: N/A
