IHG Housekeeping Manager - Local in Thailand
Oversee Housekeeping staff to ensure prompt, courteous service for all guests, especially VIPs and priority members.
Communicate Housekeeping matters with the Front Office, Engineering, and Laundry to ensure accurate room status.
Schedule and conduct routine inspections of housekeeping areas for cleanliness, maintenance, and refurbishment needs.
Evaluate staff appearance, discipline, and efficiency, taking immediate remedial action when necessary.
Maintain communication with the Executive Housekeeper on all departmental matters.
Supervise outside contractors for compliance and control the consumption of guest supplies.
Assist in monitoring Housekeeping procedures, including lost and found, key control, security, emergency protocols, and health and safety.
Collaborate with the Executive Housekeeper on cleaning programs and act on their behalf in their absence.
Work with superiors and Human Resources on manpower planning and management.
