Oracle’s Sales Transformation & Comms team works with sales leaders across Japan & Asia Pacific to drive leadership initiatives and applications that deliver a modern employee experience.
We’re currently seeking an intern position of a product manager who can have the opportunity to learn more about the role. This position will work with developers, designers and communicators within our team, as well as functional stakeholders across the business to drive a modern sales experience for employees with hands on experience of major sales engagement applications.
What you'll do
Team co-ordination:- Ability to work closely with internal clients, creative, copy, and dev teams- Task assignment, resource load balancing and ability to predict periods of heavy activities and plan accordingly
Ability to act local but think global:- Maintain standards across teams in multiple locations spread across JAPAC
Strategic planning:- Proficient in tools for development and project management such as Jira, GitHub etc.- Understanding of modern agile frameworks and tools such as Kanban and SCRUM- Own annual resource planning
Communication:- Great communication and people skills- Ability to work with senior leaders- Ability to keep both internal customers and leaders up to date on projects
Time and personnel management:- Ability to negotiate and protect the pooled creative resources from over-utilization, task imbalances, etc.
Controlling quality:- Attention to detail to find bugs- Ability to come up with new features that can enhance the product
Managing risks and issues:- Ability to navigate challenging or complex situations
Strategic influencing:- Create compelling presentations using Microsoft PowerPoint or Figma/ FigJam to facilitate ideation- Ability to manage stakeholder demands and act as a consultant
Organization skills:- Create meeting minutes- Track progress and have them up to date
Analytics:- Gather and analyze data and look for trends, patterns and anomalies within it

Responsibilities
About you
Experience in product management tools (JIRA, Figma, Kanban, Scrum)
Somewhat knowledge of creative and web development processes (front-end and back-end), Adobe Creative Cloud (Photoshop & Illustrator), web technologies (HTML5, CSS3, Vue.js, JavaScript, etc.).
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills
Creative thinking
Ability to engage confidently and effectively with internal stakeholders
