Job Responsibilities:

Strategic

  • Support the department’s business plan of identifying new revenue opportunities, building customer and revenue business to align to the Bank's direction/vision.

Financial

  • Delivery and support the delivery of relevant banking services to customers to meet revenue targets for team.

Customer

  • Build effective relationships with Global Clients to develop revenue opportunities and to deliver a high quality of service

  • Manage day to day clients interactions, identifying and understanding customers’ needs in order to develop product solutions and promote FX and derivative products.

  • Prepare and deliver quality risk-management advice to Global clients in the region.

  • Deal execution [and support deal execution] for FX/Derivatives as needed by relevant sales teams.

  • Work in partnership with colleagues across all regions to share best practice, ideas for customer financing and risk management solutions. Deliver an integrated regional service for our customers, develop new business and create effective processes.

  • Work in partnership with Relationship Managers to understand the customer’s needs, promote solutions and provide commentary on the market, to maximise cross-sell opportunities

  • Work in partnership with colleagues in other departments to deliver an integrated service for our customers.

  • Work in partnership with Credit to resolve any credit related issues with deals or new products.

  • Work in partnership with colleagues in Head Office and various departments to contribute to the development of new or enhanced FX and Derivative products.

  • Work in partnership within MUFG and MUFG entities, including but not limited to Morgan Stanley, to support in leveraging their products for deals as well as to maintain relationship for future business opportunities.

People

  • Act as a role model to team members and adhere to all company policies / guidelines.

  • Be a good team player, to achieve team’s common goal

Other/ Control

  • Responsible for the production of technical sections relating to a specific product area of expertise and reviewing the input from less experienced colleagues.

  • Contribute to the development of client or counterparty facing reports, proposals and presentation, converting analysis into conclusions and recommendations.

  • Provide input into deals to ensure pricing, product offerings and the structuring of the deal is aligned to business strategy.

  • Execute transactions, within specified limits and manage a large trading book dealing with complex transactions.

  • Execute business development activity, such as product specific marketing initiatives.

  • Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and limits, monitor day to day transaction risks.

  • Maintain good working knowledge of industry trends, products, relevant laws and regulations.

  • Adhere to all company policies / guidelines.

Job Requirements:

  • Minimum Degree Qualified

  • Minimum 10 years of experience in a client facing or marketing role

  • Knowledge in FX and derivatives products

  • Good relevant industry experience and knowledge of competitor landscape.

  • Good communication skills with ability to influence others and sell products.

  • In depth knowledge in products including but not limited to FX and Derivatives.

  • Strong understanding in local regulations to mitigate risk to the Bank with transactions.
