Job Description

Over 6 - 10 + years of relevant experience - Being Hands-On is a critical requirement.

  • Experience in Java and JavaScripting.

  • Implement advanced technical solutions for Clinical product using cloud technologies and microservice architecture on Kubernetes.

  • Hands on experience in scripting languages like python or shell script.

  • Hands on experience in Kubernetes.

  • Good understanding of Database Query language like SQL

  • Good Understanding on XML, JSON and rest.

  • You will Identify potential risks, problem areas and develop procedures that provide effective workarounds/resolution for customer(s).

  • You have a broader view across multiple processes associated with the clinical healthcare ecosystem, partner products/services and third-party systems.

  • Build and automate SOPs for Clinical Application Services and EHR.

  • Answer customer queries and provide implementation guidance.

  • Build Knowledge base on EHR and New Millenium applications and best practices around it.

  • Work in Agile development environment across the globe, improving processes, enabling the team to achieve higher productivity in continuous delivery environment and deliver a superior product to our customers.

Responsibilities

We are seeking a highly skilled Principal Member of Technical Staff (PMTS) to join our Health Applications team in building and supporting cutting-edge EHR products. This role involves leveraging cloud technologies, microservices architecture on Kubernetes, and innovative Conversational and Generative AI capabilities. As an experienced technical expert, you will play a pivotal role in designing and implementing robust, scalable, and high-quality solutions while collaborating with a team of engineers across globe.

This position offers a unique opportunity to contribute hands-on to the development and support of cloud-centric applications from the ground up, influencing both technical and business strategies. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, driving technical excellence and innovation in product development.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Experience in Solution Design: Proven experience in designing solutions for customer engagements, specifically in the EHR and Healthcare Integration space.

  • Programming Expertise: Proficient in Java and JavaScript, with experience in scripting languages such as Python and Shell for automating and optimizing workflows in EHR applications.Collaborate with engineering teams to architect scalable and maintainable systems.

  • Microservices and Kubernetes: In-depth understanding of microservices architecture and Kubernetes for scalable, cloud-native EHR applications.

  • Automation and SOP Development: Develop and automate SOPs for EHR integrations and clinical application services to improve operational efficiency.

  • Customer Support and Implementation Guidance: Respond to customer queries, provide implementation guidance, and support the deployment of EHR solutions.

  • Provide 24X7 on call support for our customers.

  • Knowledge Base Development: Build and maintain a comprehensive knowledge base on EHR services, New Millenium product best practices, and troubleshooting techniques.

  • Database Proficiency: Strong knowledge of database query languages such as SQL, with experience in managing healthcare data securely and efficiently.

  • Data Standards and APIs: Solid understanding of XML, JSON, REST APIs, and HL7/FHIR standards for interoperability between healthcare systems.

  • Risk Management and Resolution: Ability to identify potential risks and problem areas in EHR integrations, and develop procedures for effective workarounds and resolutions tailored to healthcare workflows.

  • Integration Ecosystem Expertise: Broad knowledge across integration processes associated with EHR systems, such as connecting healthcare-specific SaaS, partner products/services and third-party systems.

  • Agile Development Practices: Work in a global Agile development environment, enhancing processes to achieve higher productivity in a continuous delivery setup and deliver superior New Millenium products to customers.

  • Continuous Learning and Innovation: Stay up-to-date on the latest New Millenium technologies, Oracle EHR advancements, and healthcare IT best practices through continuous learning.

  • Software Development: Participate in tasks related to developing, designing, and debugging software applications or operating systems, ensuring adherence to the highest standards of quality and security.

  • Ensure high-quality engineering standards through code reviews, testing, and best practices.

  • Provide technical guidance and mentorship to team members, fostering a culture of innovation and excellence.

Work is non-routine and very complex, involving the application of advanced technical/business skills in area of specialisation. Candidate is expected to be a leading contributor individually and as a team member, providing direction and mentoring to others. BE or MS degree or equivalent experience relevant to functional area.
