Job Title: Mechanical Assembler
Job Description
As an Assembler, you will be responsible for assembling parts using a variety of tools and equipment within a designated area of the production line.
Your role will involve receiving instructions from the Team Lead, reviewing and interpreting assembly instructions, blueprints, verifying specifications, and ensuring all parts are present.
You will also be expected to assemble tools and materials, interpret measurements, adjust dimensions to meet specifications, and set and verify parts clearances.
You will be assembling industrial vacuum pumps and will need experience utilizing pneumatic driven tools (air screw guns, etc.) and hand tools (mallet, hammer, screw driver, t-handle key sets, etc.)
Positions or aligns components for sub-assembly, assembly, manually or using hoist.
Additionally, you will troubleshoot test failures, perform necessary repairs, and ensure a clean and safe working environment.
You will also be responsible for rejecting non-conforming products, completing quality control forms, reporting product line errors, and replenishing stock.
The position offers opportunities for growth, with potential promotion to Team Lead.
