Anywhere Real Estate Field Support Technician - US Based Remote in Virginia Beach, Virginia
Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
• Install, configure, and upgrade operating systems and software using current standard business packages.
• Install, assemble, and configure computers, monitors, network infrastructure, and peripherals such as printers, scanners, and related hardware.
• Troubleshoot problems with computer systems, including troubleshooting hardware and software, e-mail, network, and peripheral equipment; make repairs and corrections where required.
• Act as a technical resource in assisting users to resolve problems with equipment; implement solutions or notify outsource providers as required such as opening work orders with cable companies.
• Make hardware and software acquisition recommendations including helping users assess needs and providing justification for equipment and services.
• Assist Network Engineers from Anywhere Network Operation Center in debugging network issues as required.
• Maintain support request tickets - ServiceNow. Accurately document instances of hardware failure, repair, and installation of software and hardware in the ticketing system.
• Actively update, maintain, and validate Hardware Asset Management inventory within ServiceNow
• Maintain effective communication with users and staff.
• Assist/backup other IT Field Support Technicians with tickets.
• Attend team meetings and actively participate in all meetings providing clear, professional feedback, expressing your ideas on potential solutions to current problems.
• Be prepared and on time to perform projects such as Circuit Cutover, Circuits testing, Office Setup, Move, Closure, Relocation etc.
Qualifications:
Technical Skill Set
• Extensive hands-on experience installing and maintaining the following: Windows 10, Microsoft Office 365, MacOS
• Experience with Ivanti LANDesk, McAfee Enterprise Edition, McAfee ePolicy Orchestrator
• Configuring Wireless Mobile/Handheld Devices such as iPhone, iPad, Android etc.
• Experience in virus detection and removal
• Experience in spyware detection and removal
• Be familiar with Windows Deployment Toolkit for Imaging
• Equivalent completion of two years college-level coursework in computer science, information technology and/or a related field, and two years of general computer installation, maintenance, and repair experience in a support environment; or an equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to successfully perform the essential duties of the job as listed above.

• Demonstrate the ability to be a team player and willingness to lend a hand with any project.
• Maintain a high level of initiative and dedication and work well under pressure.
• Able to handle multiple priorities and possess a high degree of flexibility.
• Effective time management.
• Outstanding customer service and interaction skills, as well as excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Take full ownership and responsibility for problems, as an individual and/or as a part of the team.
• Continue follow-ups as necessary until problem is resolved or project is over.
• Manage expectations throughout the process by keeping the customer informed regarding status and timing.
• Notify customers, supervisor and/or manager as soon as a commitment may be missed.
• Ability to read and understand technical manuals, procedural documentation, and OEM guides. Document work being performed.
• Able to lift computer equipment, printers.
• Posses and maintain a valid driver’s license and a satisfactory driving record.
