Staffmark is hiring a Part-Time Cook for a local Career Center in Van Wert, OH. Pay: $12.59 or more depending on experience Shift: First shift, school hours, part-time The Cook will be responsible for preparing and serving meals according to menus and recipes, ensuring consistency and quality. Properly load, store, and rotate food stock following safety procedures, assist with deliveries, and maintain accurate inventory. Operate kitchen equipment, including dishwashers and large cookware, while adhering to safety guidelines and monitoring food temperatures. Maintain clean work areas, ensure proper food handling, and assist with special events. Provide customer service during meal service, operate the cash register, handle payments, and prepare bank deposits. Report any safety hazards, equipment malfunctions, or behavioral issues and participate in staff meetings and professional development opportunities.
