We are looking for summer employees to assist with B2B customer service and operational office tasks.
Your Role
As a summer intern, you’ll get a front-row seat to how sea export transports are coordinated and what happens in sea freight traffic. We’ll provide you with comprehensive training to ensure you’re well-prepared for your role, giving you a strong foundation for a career in logistics. You’ll be at the heart of our operations, collaborating with customers, subcontractors, partners, transport companies, and Kuehne+Nagel's global network. Your role will involve managing critical aspects of international transport and ensuring seamless delivery for Finland’s largest companies.
Your Responsibilities
Handling B2B customer inquiries and providing excellent service through various communication channels.
Managing international transport orders for some of Finland’s largest companies, ensuring smooth execution.
Monitoring shipments, addressing any issues proactively, and keeping customers informed about delivery progress.
Preparing and verifying shipment documents, including customs clearance requests and other regulatory paperwork.
Coordinating with customers, subcontractors, transport companies, and Kuehne+Nagel’s global network.
Addressing operational challenges and ensuring customer satisfaction and process efficiency.
Your Skills and Experiences
Recently graduated or currently studying in a logistics/international trade degree program (e.g., at a university of applied sciences).
A genuine enthusiasm for logistics and freight forwarding.
Strong verbal and written communication skills in Finnish and English.
Positive, solution-oriented, and service-minded.
Self-initiative, systematic work approach, and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.

Salary: €2,000–2,150/month, depending on your experience.
