    Position Summary:

    The Compensation Specialist provides support on compensation projects and daily interactions from team members and leaders.

    Qualifications:

    EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS Bachelor's Degree in Related field EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS One (1) year of Human Resources experience, preferably in healthcare SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE Proficient in Microsoft Office applications

    Essential Functions:

  • Respond to inquiries from team members and leaders on related Compensation topics.

  • Coordinate job description revision process and assist with new job description creation.

  • Process ladder promotions based on applicable pay practice document to ensure correct increase is given.

  • Complete certification pay increases based on applicable pay practice and complete appropriate verifications.

  • Process Charge and Unit Nurse Leader request and submit necessary changes to setup all secondary positions and rates.

  • Evaluate system alert notifications related to weekend program and secondary position rates and update as necessary within HRIS system.

  • Process BSN bonus payments, which includes primary source verification of degree and submitting bonus amount to Payroll.
